You, the client, will be responsible for purchasing and managing a domain name for the website build.

A domain name, is the label / identifier added to a website property that is human readable.  An example being, example.com, wherein the domain represents a brand, identity, or name of a company or intellectual property.  The .com is a popular and more historically recognized top level domain signifier, which more often indicates the purpose of the digital property it addresses.

A domain name is similar to an address, wherein a property or location can be reached when searching out that exact name and address.

Domain names can be purchased at any domain name hosting company, however, it is recommended that your domain reside in the same account as your web hosting service, defined elsewhere in this FAQ.  Domains are internationally regulated by ICANN, so that only one instance of a domain exists universally.
